HQNZ Completes Biggest Dual Location Program
HQNZ recently celebrated the completion of one of the most ambitious projects in our 25-year history. This dual-destination incentive program showcased the diverse beauty of New Zealand, taking a large group of high-performing US guests on a journey from the vibrant city of Auckland to the dramatic landscapes of Queenstown.
The program launched in Auckland (Tāmaki Makaurau), the City of Sails. A major highlight of the North Island stay was an immersive Lord of the Rings themed gala dinner. Guests were transported into the cinematic world of Middle-earth, experiencing the storytelling and atmosphere that New Zealand is world-renowned for. This was complemented by an America’s Cup inspired competitive sailing race on the Waitematā Harbour and a meaningful community initiative where guests engaged with local schools.
The adventure then moved to Queenstown, the adventure capital of the world. Over five days, the group experienced a curated selection of the region’s best food, wine, and sightseeing.
The logistical pinnacle of the trip was a record-breaking aviation movement coordinated with our partners at The Helicopter Line. In a single departure, 24 helicopters were mobilised to transport the group, requiring aircraft and pilots to be brought in from across the lower South Island. The sight of 24 helicopters positioned along a one-kilometre stretch of beach was a monumental achievement for both HQNZ and The Helicopter Line.
To conclude this unforgettable journey, a finale dinner was held at Coronet Peak. Guests enjoyed cocktails and a gourmet dinner surrounded by fresh snow, followed by a spectacular fireworks display over the mountain.
Success on this scale is only possible through the dedication of our specialist team and our exceptional network of local partners. Thank you to everyone involved.
