Creatively dodging obstacles

Not all programs go to plan and for this event that was certainly the case! We were asked to organise some Helicopter transfers up to the Southern Hemisphere Proving Grounds (SHPG) for our clients Ice Driving program. Unfortunately, the ice conditions were not up to drivable standard due to a warm front that came through.

With two hours to spare the client called us in to rearrange their whole day and to try replicate the high level of experience the guests would have received at SHPG.

Our favourite driving facility Highlands was unavailable. Luckily the client had faith in us to deliver a bespoke day that had never been done before. To some people this might seem daunting, but here at HQ this gets our creative minds thinking and boy oh boy did we deliver.

With a private helicopter collection, Champagne stop at the beautiful alpine lake – Lochnagar, scrumptious lunch at Kinloch Lodge and some on and off road driving back to Queenstown on one of the Worlds most scenic drives.

There are moments you honestly can’t plan for and this was one, luckily we know our backyard so well and can create a truly unforgettable experience for everyone involved no matter the obstacles
